TMCS Summer Camps at Tipp City Park

TMCS Summer Vacation at the Park

It was “genius week”, June 28 – July 1 at Tipp Monroe Community Services Summer Vacation at the Park. Children performed experiments that taught them about light and color. Lori Spencer from PECO, read a story about a baby genius and told the kids some interesting facts about Albert Einstein. The students also made “snow”, watched an exploding drink bottle and built huge towers out of newspaper and tape. Everyone went home with new knowledge and tales of a fun week at the Roundhouse.

Each week of Summer at the Park is full of learning, fun, crafts and plenty of playtime and is open to children 4-10 years old. There are three camps remaining for the summer during the weeks of July 12, July 19 and July 26.

TGIF with TMCS
Kids got wet, wild and super soaked during “Super Soakin” on Friday, July 2.  It was a chilly start, but participants warmed up in the sun and had a blast getting the camp counselors wet as well as each other.  Every game was meant to make a splash!

This program is part of TGIF with TMCS.  Each Friday is full of fun, crafts and plenty of playtime and is open to children 4-10 years old.  July 16 is Magic Madness.  We will be visited by Tom Casper and his magician friends for an entertaining morning of tricks and illusions.  Space is still available for this and other summer camps.

If you are interested in these or other programs call TMCS at 667-8631 or go to www.tmcomservices.org for more information.  Don’t let summer slip away without being part of the fun!
