ROCK HILL, S.C. – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Volleyball Players of the Week for matches played during the second week of the 2019 season and Taylor Prall brought home her second consecutive weekly honor.
Prall, a junior outside hitter, tied and then broke her career-high for kills over the weekend. Prall recorded 22 kills against Catawba to match her career mark and then bested it with 23 against Lincoln Memorial on Sunday. Prall recorded three straight double-doubles with a season-high of 17 digs against the Railsplitters. Prall has accumulated 109 kills on the year, so far, putting her 44 kills ahead of the next closest competitor. She averages 4.36 kills/set, 0.60 higher than other players in the league.
Prall and the Bears return to action on Friday night when they travel to UVA Wise for a 7 p.m. contest.
