Miami County Employees Receive 2% Raise

Miami County, Ohio – Today, the Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution to grant a 2.0 percent increase in all wage and wage related accounts, excluding employees under collective bargaining agreements, retroactive to June 25, 2011.

The last increase in appropriations to wage accounts for county employees (non-union) was effective December 15, 2007.

The Board wishes to express its appreciation to all elected officials and employees for their willingness to work cooperatively in a continuing difficult climate and constraints on the general fund. The Board also would like to salute our employees who have taken pay reductions, hour reductions and furlough days to keep Miami County financially stable in a tumultuous economic climate.
