Contributors to the TippNews DAILY are in a special position to share information electronically with others in our community. You have been granted a special right and privilege to pen your thoughts and report on news and events as they happen. In exchange for this responsibility you agree to always respect the privacy of individuals that you report on in the TippNews DAILY articles, posts and comments that you create. Some examples of the information that will not be shared by Contributors without express permission of the individual(s) involved: Phone Number Address Religious Affiliation Place of Employment Names of spouse or children Articles that clearly include this information will be held in my Pending workflow until I can confirm with the Contributor that they received permission to communicate this information. At all times that you are interviewing or collecting information from others that will contribute to a posting on TippNews DAILY you should let them know that you are acting as a New Media Reporter and that their comments will be used to contribute to your work with TippNews DAILY. Information collected surreptitiously or without the express consent of others is strictly forbidden. If the Editor finds that you are in breach of this privacy policy the Editor may terminate your Contributor account and redact all information that was surreptitiously derived.
