TIPP?CITY – Local man Nick Youngerman, 21, has made it through the auditions and into “muscial boot camp” on Fox’s “The X Factor” T.V. show.
Wednesday Oct. 17 was the night that each X Factor judge was to select four of six acts to go on to the next round. Two of the four judges made their four selections in the categories of teen acts and girl acts.
Youngerman was in the young adult category with Demi Lavato as his judge/mentor. He is the only rapper remaining in the competition.
On Wednesday’s show, Lavato began to choose her final four. She had already picked two, and Youngerman was about to meet with her to find out his fate – when the programming went back to baseball, which had been delayed by rain. The internet was loaded with “What happened?” types of comments, but the baseball game still took preminence.
The entire episode will air next Tuesday evening, Oct. 23. Until then….it’s pins and needles for Youngerman and for us.
