The Center Stage Show Choir and The Red Heat Combo finished their competition season up this past Saturday with their “BEST SHOW EVER”!!!!! These kids rocked the house to a standing room only audience! The seniors left the stage knowing that they had just given it all.
I couldn’t be more proud of this group! They were 7th out of 17. They missed finals by 3 little points. They were edged out of finals from a group from Tennessee. My husband says we missed finals “because of the out-of-state factor”. Sometimes judges just think you’re going to be better if you traveled farther than anyone else
We were first runner-up in our class out of seven AND beat our arch rivals – Cory Rawson and Ada!!!
Our Tech Crew brought home their second OVERALL FIRST place finish out of 17 and we missed best costumes by half a point. Our combo also had their best show of the year which includes our two lady trumpet players out playing Beavercreek’s 10 piece horn section.
I’d like to thank all of our groupies, chaperones and awesome bus drivers! Sometimes I think our bus drivers are our biggest fans!!!!
Ten students were nominated for best performer. However, freshman Brianna Bull captured her first of many “top performer” awards.
Seniors, none of this would have been possible without you. I love you!
