MYSTERY LOVER’S BOOK DISCUSSION
Fans of the mystery genre will consider Simple Genius by David Baldacci at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 14. In this 2007 novel, Baldacci brings back the private investigating team of Sean King and Michelle Maxwell. Here, the setting provides a hearty dose of intrigue as murders are investigated at a government think-tank where world changing discoveries are on the agenda.
Refreshments and desserts will be served. Copies of the book are available at the front desk.
MEDICAID HELP
Medicare, Medicaid and Prescription Options is the topic at the program at Tipp City Public Library at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 14. Ms. Diana Benson, a Representative of the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP), will answer your questions in a one-on-one style.
SIT-N-STITCH
If you enjoy the needlecrafts, either knitting or crochet, consider joining the library’s Sit-N-Stitch group at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16. All skill levels are welcome.
TREVA WESTFALL TO PERFORM
There’s great Music in the Library when Treva Westfall performs a variety of seasonal music on the dulcimer and hammered dulcimer on Saturday, Dec. 19, from 1 to 3 p.m. This series is co-sponsored by Jeff (DVM) and Lisa Hendricks of the Tippecanoe Veterinary Hospital and The Friends of the Tipp City Public Library.
FOR THE MUCH YOUNGER SET
Programs for one and two year-olds are offered every month at the library. Little Ducklings (one year-olds) story times are at 1 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays, and Tales for Tadpoles (two year-olds) are on the first and third Wednesdays. Registration is requested.
