LIONS CLUB SPONSORS COMMUNITY FOURTH OF JULY FESTIVAL

West Milton, Ohio — The West Milton Lions Club recently sponsored the Annual West Milton Fourth of July Festival at the West Milton Community Park. This is the clubs sixth year of sponsoring the festival that ran from July 1 through July 4. The festival consisted of carnival rides, a midway of games and food provided by Funtime Carnival out of Cincinnati, the annual Lions Club chicken Bar-B-Que and concluded with a fireworks display presented by Prestige Fireworks, LLC out of Mason.

 

High lights of this years’ celebration was the 20’x30’ flag hanging in the center of town for the parade to pass under and the dedication of the Veterans Memorial. This event took place in the park on July 4th at 12:30.

 

The Lions Club thanks the following for their contribution to the festival and fireworks: Bill Netzley Roofing, Brumbaugh Engineering and Surveying, LLC, Bulldog Diner, Certified Oil, Clifton W. Poling, OD, Curry’s Video Plus, Cyn-Sational Barbers, David W. Menning, DDS, Fifth Third Bank, First Baptist Church of Laura, Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, Hamler-Gingrich Insurance Agency, Izzy’s Drive Thru, James R. McCartan, CPA, McGrath’s Service Center, Mr. Deal’s Supermarket, Municipality of West Milton, Owl Drugs, Patterson’s Flowers, Skippers Corner Tavern, Sunoco Station, The Brick House Café, The Church of the Transfiguration, Thomas W. Wolf, CPA, Wagner Insurance Agency, Inc, Wertz Hardware, Wertz Variety, West Milton IGA, and all of the anonymous contributors that donated at the businesses and at the park.
