More Than Just A Farmers Market

This week when you come out to buy your fresh fruits and veggies, you’ll get more than you bargained for! The 7th annual Tipp City Antique & Artisan Show will also take place on Saturday, June 26th, 9AM-5PM in the historical business district in downtown Tipp City.  There are over 70 participating vendors’ that will be displaying collectible primitives, glassware, garden architectural items, furniture, vintage clothing and jewelry, and other collectibles. Some of the best local artist will also be participating, bringing their watercolors, oils, pottery, weaving, metal and wood forms, photography, “papers”, hand-embroidered items and jewelry. Other merchants will be doing ongoing, live demonstrations of their work techniques and be creating unique works of art right in front of your eyes.

The event will also include a great schedule of live entertainment. A performance stage will be set up between Fourth Street and the Railroad Tracks. “We have a great entertainment scheduled for this year’s event.” said event chairman Terri Bessler, Owner of Midwest Memories. “Our Entertainment Chair, Molly Spencer has a great line up put together that includes Gem City Gymnastics, Jazzercize with Cheryl Heffner, The Bethel Brass Sextet, Banjo Entertainment with Glenn Parks and back by popular demand is Mezzelli’s Midnight Mirage (Belly Dancing).”

So come out for the Farmers’ Market…and stay for the Antique & Artisan Show!

P.S. Due to a wedding, the Methodist Church parking lot will be CLOSED during Market hours. The Luthern Church lot will be open as well as numerous parking spots on the side streets around Tipp.
