Long time Tipp City resident Hobart J. Stephens, who resided in Vandalia Ohio, passed away at St. Cloud Regional hospital, Florida, Sunday, November 7, 2010 at the age of 87, after suffering a major stroke on Friday Nov 5th. He was born June 5th. 1923, in Christiansburg Ohio The only child of Hobart M. Stephens and Nelly K. Stephens Graduated Tippecanoe High School class of 1941, Eagle and Sea Scout Tipp City Masonic Lodge, Past Commander Troy Commandery, York Rite Eastern Star Past Worthy Patron, Antioch Shrine (Bobbies), 32nd Scottish Rite Son’s American Revolution, Sons of the American Legion Tipp City Police Auxiliary; Clark County Genealogy Society, Tipp City Historical Society, Tipp City Seniors Club Life Time NRA member, Carpenters Union, Retired construction superintendent-Miller Valentine Surviving spouse Gayle Stephens, predeceased by 2nd spouse Jean Stephens, and surviving 1st spouse Ethel Louise Havens Findell. Children: Michael R. Stephens Columbus, Ohio Jim P. Stephens Tipp City, Ohio Stephanie I. Kerg Tipp City, Ohio Chris O. Stephens Tipp City, Ohio Dennis Stephens deceased Tara L. Vogel North Manchester, Indiana Ileana A. Anticoli, Miamisburg, Ohio Step: Jeffery Biggs, Louisville, KY Grandchildren: Jessica Davidson, Liz Combs, Cecilia Michel Matt Kerg, Kim Myers Heather Roberts, Angelia Bellar Katie Owens, Amy Vogel, Holly Vogel, Jacob Vogel, Benjamin Vogel [deceased] Sarah Gordon, Rachel Anticoli, Jen Anticoli John, Daniel, Hollis, and Sarah Biggs Great-grandchildren: Austen Bellar, Owen Bellar, Sydney Aldous, Emma Aldus, Samarra Roberts, Adeline Roberts, Kelly Kerg, Colton Kerg, Kayley Myers, Tommy Myers, Megan and Emily Michel, Ethan and Lilly Davison, Madison Gordon, Haden Combs Memorial service will start at 3 PM , Wednesday November 24th FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 West Main St. Tipp City, Oh. With a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers please donate to the Shriners Hospitals for Children
