Tipp City Rotary Club member Dr. William Gabel spoke to the club at the October 20, 2010 meeting about the history of Rotary International. He included milestones in the history of the organization, including when clubs were formed. The first Rotary Club was founded by Paul Harris in Chicago in 1905 and the Tipp City Rotary Club was chartered on January 1, 1922. Dr. Gabel is a long time member of Rotary, a Past President of the Tipp City Rotary, and is a Past District Governor of District 6670.
