The Baskets & Bows Craft Bazaar

It is the 8th year for Baskets & Bows Craft Bazaar, sponsored by the St. John’s MOM’s group.  The purpose of the bazaar is to raise funds to help families and children in need.  In previous years, the St John’s MOM’s group, with the profits from the bazaar, has been able to buy Christmas presents, food, clothing, coats, hats and mittens for dozens of children and their parents.  The organization is very excited for this year’s Baskets & Bows Craft Bazaar as their motto is “SHOP, EAT, ENJOY”. This years event is scheduled for Saturday Dec 1, 2012  10am-4pm at St. John the Baptist Church 753 S. Hyatt St. Banquet Hall

Shari Neilson, who is in charge of vendors, has done a great job of securing over 35 different vendors for the bazaar.  A sample of what will be sold include jewelry, doll clothes, scarfs, wreaths, soaps, lotions and more. Shari made a great effort to make sure there were little to no repeats in what each vendor was selling so there would be plenty of variety to SHOP from.

In addition to the shopping, Baskets & Bows Craft Bazaar will be offering a HOT soup lunch to EAT for $3  ~ which will include choice of soup, a drink, and choice of two sides.  Some of the soups offered include Cabbage Roll Soup, an original creation from one of our mom’s; Chili and Chicken ‘n Dumpling’s just to name a few.

Baskets & Bows Craft Bazaar will also offer a wonderful Basket Raffle to ENJOY; featuring numerous items donated by local Tipp City businesses.  Tiffany Doseck, who is in charge of the St John’s MOMs group says “We are humbled and grateful by the generosity of the businesses of Tipp City who offered donations to the Baskets & Bow Craft Bazaar.”  A complete list of donors will be posted at the bazaar.
