THE "CHICKEN" IS BACK!

WEST MILTON – The “chicken” is back on the church lawn, which means Community Church’s annual Bible School will soon be here. Community Church is located at 2261 S. Miami in West Milton. Vacation Bible School will run June 20 to 24, from 9 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.

Community Church invites the children to join us on a Castle Adventure. We will be transforming the church into SonCastle Faire, where children will discover the joy of using their talents to serve the King of King. We will feature lively songs, skits, stories, crafts and games. Our famous Bible School Store will be open where kids receive tokens for saying Bible verses that can be used to buy all kinds of great toys, candy and prizes. We will also have yummy snacks each day.

Special recognition will be given each day to those children bringing a friend to Bible School. If you’re “caught being good” you can earn extra tokens to spend at the store. You can help us build a “can tower” for our Food Pantry by bringing in a canned food item. Together we will grow some good for our community.

Everything draws to a fantastic close on Friday evening, June 24 at 7 p.m. with a “Royal Faire” for all the parents and friends. The children will all be involved in a mini-musical and then you are invited to join them in our “Royal Gymnasium” for some games, prizes, and snacks for the whole family.

Make sure your child is a part of this year’s Bible School at Community Church in West Milton. Special programs for pre-school (3 years and up) and for those completing the sixth grade will also take place. For more information and to pre-register your children (worth 10 extra tokens to those finishing kindergarten through fifth grade) go online at www.thechickenchurch.com or call the church at 698-4048.

And as always, our Bible School is truly something to crow about!
