Time for the pool! You know what that means….time for a summer read recommendation! I recently returned from a relaxing Florida vacation and before leaving I picked up The Forgotten by David Baldacci. I have always liked David’s books as they are usually a quick read and captivating.
In The Forgotten, ironically set in the Florida town of Paradise, Army combat Veteran, Puller, is looking into the mysterious death of his Aunt. She recently was found dead in her home and it was ruled an accident. However, Puller’s father (also an Army Veteran) had received a note written by his sister shortly before her death saying that there were some questionable things going on in Paradise.
After starting to look into his Aunt’s death, Puller finds even more questionable things in Paradise that leads his investigation, not only in the direction of finding out what happened to his Aunt, but helping those that are forgotten.
