In a report compiled and released by the Cities of Vandalia and Beavercreek each year, Tipp City ranked last in something… In cost of living.
The report reviewed the cost of real estate taxes, school district income taxes, city income tax, and water and sewer rates for the 27 cities and villages in Greene and Montgomery counties along with Troy, Piqua and Tipp City in Miami County.
The comparison was ran with Tipp City both prior to the proposed Tax Levy on May 3rd, as well as after. Regardless of the outcome of the new tax levy, Tipp City will remain amongst the most affordable Miami Valley city to live in.
