Tipp-Monroe Fire Association Extends Support for Levy

The Tipp-Monroe Fire Association extended their support for the May 3rd tax levy in a letter to the City Manager, Jon Crusey.

The letter extends support for the levy, stating that it will provide them the ability to purchase equipment and facility enhancements that will assist the Fire and EMS teams in their work. This letter of endorsement comes to the Committee for a Strong Tipp City the same week that the Downtown Tipp City Partnership pledged its support for the efforts of the levy campaign.

About the Tipp-Monroe Fire Association

Tipp City’s Fire Department is composed of a dedicated group of 24 paid volunteers. The Department operates principally out of the Fire and EMS Station at the intersection of Main and Hyatt Streets, and serves all of Tipp City and surrounding Monroe Township, as well as parts Concord Townships. Firefighters are grouped into three divisions of six or more firefighters who are on call from 6PM-6AM, and these groups respond to any minor incident that needs to be attended to. Whenever there is report of a structural fire, all 24 firefighters report for duty. The three groups of six or more firefighters rotate on a weekly basis.
