This Wednesday from 5PM-7PM,  Harrison’s Restaurant will be unveiling their newest beer on tap. Canal Jumper Ale. A special craft beer, with a theme drawn from Tipp City’s own vintage base ball team, the Tippecanoe Canal Jumpers. Weary travelers and those finished with their hard day of labor on Wednesday can come in for a special beer tasting of Canal Jumper Ale. Patrons who find that they enjoy the taste of this vintage-themed beverage can purchase it by the pint from Harrison’s Tap-Meister, Mike-the-Bartender.
We understand that there may also be an appearance from several of the Tippecanoe Canal Jumpers in their vintage apparel that evening. Reed Spencer, team owner welcomes all “townies, cranks and hard-workin’ folk” to Harrison’s to come and meet some of the members of the Canal Jumpers who brought won the 2010 Tipp City ball tournament and brought home the  Tippecanoe Cup.
Not thirsty enough for a pint of Tipp City’s finest brewed beverage? You can purchase 1 litre bottles of Canal Jumper Ale for carry-out purchase that evening as well. Eventually there is hope to have Canal Jumper Ale available at all local watering-holes as well as at Miami Valley Wine and Spirits.
