The Violet Richardson Award, formerly known as the Youth Citizenship Award along with a check was awarded to Megan Baird by Soroptimist International of Tipp City and the Upper Miami Valley President, Judy Tannehill and Awards Chairperson, Cheryl Fahy. Megan, a student at Sidney Lehman High School, is receiving this award for her volunteer activities in helping to make her community and the world a better place in which to live. Megan was chosen from applicants that were submitted for this prestigious award.
The Women’s Opportunity Award along with a check was issued to Brittany Neil by Soroptimist International of Tipp City and the Upper Miami Valley President Judy Tannehill and Awards Chairperson, Cheryl Fahy. This award aids women, who, as primary wage earners for their families, must enter or return to the workforce. Brittany was chosen from applicants that were submitted for this prestigious award.
Norman Ryan was inducted as the newest member of Soroptimist International of Tipp City and the Upper Miami Valley by President Judy Tannehill and Vice President DeDe Mott.
