Tippecanoe's Clawson Field Receives Much Needed Facelift

tippecanoe baseball teamAfter Tipp City’s track and field restoration efforts were completed in 2008 once again allowing the track team a place to practice and compete, eyes have now turned to the adjacent Varsity baseball field. The field is well known for its odd slope, poor drainage and infield lip that can turn a ground field out into a single. It was therefore due to safety reasons as well as game play that Tipp City Schools turned to Good Samaritan Hospital and the Upper Valley Medical Center to help with funding, along with the installation services of Evergreen Turf and Landscape.

The new field sports 15,000 square feet of bluegrass sod, something that Coach Cahill and team cannot wait to get onto and start practicing.
