On behalf of all of the children in need to be served by our ‘ HYPE Holiday Kickoff 2’, and on behalf of HYPE, Buffalo Wild Wings Troy, Unity National Bank, Hits 105.5, and Eagle Printing, I would like to sincerely thank the entire surrounding community for making our gift drive kickoff event a huge success.
First, I would like to thank our many business sponsors who donated nearly fifty raffle prizes as well as sponsorship dollars including our hosts at Buffalo Wild Wings Troy and the featured sponsors of Miami Valley Centre Mall, Portrait Creations, SC Collectibles, Extreme Tattoo, and PBM Covington. I would also like to thank our many volunteers who put in so much time and effort in planning, pre-event marketing, and working at the event itself, with Tracey Herron earning our praise for setting the standard in volunteer service. And to everyone who came out to Buffalo Wild Wings Troy during our second annual HYPE Holiday Kickoff gift drive kickoff event on Nov. 18th, 2010, thank you so much for showing this community’s amazing heart with your generous new and unwrapped gifts for children and raffle ticket purchases.
HYPE (Helping Young Professionals Emerge, www.hypenmv.org) is thrilled to have community involvement and giving as part of our mission to show what a great place the Northern Miami Valley is for young professionals and all people to live, work, and play. And HYPE is so excited at the number of smiles this community’s giving is going to provide this Christmas to children in need all over Miami County served by Kids Learning Place. Thanks to YOU, through Friday, Nov. 19th, we were able to turn over $1,381 dollars and just under 200 brand new and amazing gifts to Kids Learning Place…with ALL to be given directly to children in need in Miami County. As just one example of how much your help made a difference, two children will wake up this Christmas to brand new bicycles! And with the numbers you helped raise, hundreds more will see the meaning of the season…in Miami County and our surrounding areas…is in the giving.
