Tipp City Arbor Day Festivities

The City of Tipp City celebrated Arbor Day on Friday, April 30 with a planting of 10 Redbud trees in Kyle Park.  The Mayor of Tipp City, Dolores Gillis, read a proclamation and participated in the planting along with City Manager Jon Crusey, Parks Advisory Board member, David Mihalyo, and Tipp Foundation members, Joan Creech and Marilyn Richards.  Also assisting were Georgia Bayman, member of the America In Bloom committee and Eva Fennell.  Earlier in the morning Tree Board Tim Rambeau visited the two elementary schools and spoke to the First Graders and gave them Norway Spruce and Ohio Buckeye seedlings to take home to plant.
