Mike Pullins, Urbana Rotarian, was Tipp City’s Rotary Club speaker on November 23rd, 2011. Mike described how farmers in the area donated one acre of their corn crop to support the Rotary Program to eradicate Polio from the world. More than two billion children have been inoculated leaving only four countries reporting Polio cases; Afghanistan Pakistan, India, and Nigeria. Rotarians will continue this effort until the goal is reached, and Polio is eradicated world wide. Pictured are: Dr Bill Gabel (left) and Mike Pullins.
