Cliff Poling, program host, invited Bret Pearce, in his twelfth season as Milton-Union head football coach, as our guest speaker at the August 22 West Milton Rotary Club meeting. Coach Pearce shared with the Rotarians about the upcoming season that opens on August 29 at Miami East. He said the team is a good combination of experience and new players. The team has been successful in all three scrimmages, showing a good blend of size and speed. The goal is to rely on a strong consistent defense and a balanced offensive attack featuring a two back and two receiver set. Coach Pearce also talked about the Bulldogs’ division and top teams, transfer rules, concussions, the playoff system, the top teams in the league and his goals for the season.
