The Tipp City Police Department, with the assistance of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office near Springfield, Illinois, the Owosso Police Department in Owosso, Michigan, and the FBI, has identified 49 year old Carl F. Kieffer as the man responsible for the robbery of New Carlisle Federal Bank on September 13, 2013.
Kieffer’s whereabouts is unknown and he is still considered a dangerous individual. Kieffer’s last known address is Spokane, Washington but we believe he is in the eastern third of the country as late as Monday, October 9th.
As many of you know, Kieffer used a light colored blue or green Dodge Durango to flee the bank robbery in Tipp City but it’s possible he is driving something entirely different now. Kieffer is described as a tall, thin man with a prominent mole on the left side of his cheek near his nose.
We would ask that the public pay close attention to the picture enclosed here and if you see someone you believe to be Kieffer, call 911 immediately.
