After an hour-long executive session and a 5-1 vote, West Milton Municipal Manager Tony Howard was removed from office Monday night (August 22, 2011).
According to the village charter, Howard is first suspended for 45 days. He has been served a certified copy of the resolution, and has a
five-day window to request a public hearing.
If he chooses to have a hearing, it must take place between 15-30 days after receiving the resolution. If not, council will draft a final resolution
after the five days to oust him from the office.
