John Stickel, CPA Appointed to Troy City Auditor Position

The Republican Central Committee for the City of Troy met on Monday, May 23, 2011 to appoint a new City Auditor.  John Stickel,  CPA,  was elected and will take office when his paper work is returned from the Ohio Secretary of State.   Stickel was also appointed to fill the vacancy on the November 2011 ballot vacated by former City Auditor Richard Cultice’s appointment as County Commissioner and resigning his place on the ballot.

Republican Chairman John O’Brien stated, “As a CPA and local business owner, John Stickel has the qualifications, community experience and proven leadership to excel in the position of City Auditor.  He will be a conservative voice on city finances and keep a watchful eye on the City’s standing in the financial markets.  The Citizens of Troy should know their City’s finances are in good hands.”
