Library News – 6/16/09

Tipp City Public Library’s upcoming events schedule has summertime entertainment possibilities for everyone. Consider visiting the library for an adults’ night out, a brown bag program to facilitate your poet within, or a stress free crafting session for teens.

FOR ADULTS

Janet Evanovich – Trivia Game Night
Fans of mystery author, Janet Evanovich are legion, loyal, and they rave about what fun her books are to read. On Tuesday, June 30 at 7 p.m., the library invites adults to show just how much they know about all-things J.E. at a Janet Evanovich Trivia Game Night.
Play will be based on a game board and trivia cards, and players will be assigned to teams. So even if you are not that into the popular author, you can still enjoy the friendly competition. There will be plenty of snacks and refreshments to add to the fun. Registration is required.

Ruth Ann Peck On The Poet Within
Dayton Area Poet, Dayton Art Institute Docent, and University of Dayton Lifelong Instructor, Ruth Ann Peck will share her lecture “The Poet Within You” at the upcoming brown bag series program at noon on Tuesday, June 30.
Bring your lunch, and the library will provide refreshments.

FOR TEENS
Quick and Easy Crafts for Teens On the Go
The library’s summer reading club calendar is filled with a variety of events for grades six and up. On Wednesday, July 01 at 1 p.m., the library will host Quick and Easy Crafts for Teens.
