Tipp City- Spring Hill Nurseries, one of America’s leading mail-order gardening suppliers since 1849, has recently expanded its holdings by purchasing two nationally-known gift and collectibles catalogs: The Paragon, and Bits & Pieces. In addition to this expansion, Spring Hill has also acquired inventory from two other suppliers of brand name household goods and home décor items, taking the Tipp City-based company beyond its nursery and gardening heritage.

The Paragon is one of the nation’s premier catalogs for unique gift items including home décor accessories, jewelry, crystal collectibles, apparel and more. Bits & Pieces is known throughout the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom as the source for clever puzzles and intriguing gifts. Regarded as the puzzler’s puzzle catalog, Bits & Pieces carries a wide range of jigsaw puzzles, brainteasers, and educational—and fun—games and toys for children and adults alike.

Special Holiday Sale—Open to the public starting this weekend

In order to clear warehouse and greenhouse space for the upcoming spring plant season, Spring Hill has set up a special holiday catalog liquidation sale for many of the items acquired during these new-business purchases. The sale—featuring discounts up to 80%—will be open to the public starting the weekend of November 15.
Hours are: M-F 10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m
Sat 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Sun 12:00 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Local and regional residents who have come to rely on Spring Hill for their home gardening needs now have the opportunity to purchase high quality items for their home’s interior as well as gifts for friends and relatives.

“The exciting thing about this sale,” says Garden Center Manager Craig Harmer, “is that it’s different every day. We have trucks coming in daily from warehouses across the country. The items we’re selling today will be different than what we’ll have tomorrow.”
