BRUBAKER, Olive Bradford, age 80 of Tipp City, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2011.
Born in Dayton, Ohio, Olive graduated from Oakwood High School in 1949, Monticello Jr College in 1951 and Ohio University in 1953 with a degree in Elementary Education. Olive taught in Dayton, Ohio for 7 years. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi National Sorority, Junior League of Dayton and Tipp City United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, George and Hazel Routsong Bradford and sister, Dorothy Connelly Mattern. Olive is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Joseph L. Brubaker; children, Rebecca (Jim) Coughlin of Tipp City and Bradford Brubaker (Paul Feakes) of Florence, Italy; grandchildren, Joseph and Meredith Coughlin and sister, Charlotte B. McKnight of Murfreesboro, TN.
The family will greet friends on Saturday, May 7th from 10:00-12:00PM at Tipp City United Methodist Church, 8 W. Main Street, Tipp City with funeral services 12 noon Saturday at the church. Private burial at David’s Cemetery, Dayton.
