Soroptimist International of Tipp City & the Upper Miami Valley proudly announce their annual award winners. Congratulations to all of our winners this year!!
- Violet Richardson Award – recognizes young women between the ages of 14-17 for their work as volunteer leaders in their community. Our 2013 winner was Emily Wildenhaus (Lehman high school student). Emily is improving the lives of children by volunteering for religious education programs.
- Women’s Opportunity Award – assists women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects. Our 2013 winner was Jamie Arrington. She is improving the lives of her and her 4 children’s lives by furthering her education in Accounting
- Virginia Wagner Grant – Assists women who are attending college/university in pursuit of a bachelors, masters or doctoral degree are eligible to apply. Our 2013 winner was Kelsey Hofer who is working towards her Master’s degree in family counseling.
