Me So Artsy: Bringing Fun to Kids in the Hospital
My name is Emma Szakal and I am in 1st grade.
I have an easy way for us to help bring fun to kids in the hospital. Sometimes
kids like us have to go to the hospital because they get sick or need to have
tests done. Being in a hospital for a few days can get boring so that’s why I want
to help other kids like us.
The hospital needs all kinds of donations for their patients. So if you want to help, I’m taking donations of art supplies, crafts, and coloring books. Every few months I’ll take the donations to the Children’s Medical Center in Dayton. The hospital said they will take all kinds of gifts. So you can also donate puzzles, books, board games and new stuffed animals.

All donations can be dropped off at Wertz Hardware. My goal is to take a wagon full of donations to Children’s on the last Tuesday of every month.
